I understand where you are coming from - you are under the impression that a white educated guy can make it better than an black educated guy. That a educated white guy can make it better than an educated white woman. That, somehow, sexual orientation can be seen on the job.
The wheelchair - yes, obviously disabled people have a more difficult time, certainly.
But there has to come a time when you stop making excuses, stop pushing for that rush, and start buckling down, doing what you can to the best of your ability, and making it work. When you eat rice and beans if that is what it takes to get enough cash to do nightschool for a GED; whatever it takes.
Because the world owes NO ONE a living; the world is a cold, deterministic place. Some people go above and beyond to help others, others go out of their way to hurt. Some people are going to make decisions based on prejudice, others will give anyone a chance. What comes of a chance is what YOU make of it.
