There are days when I would give my right arm to be alone, without a kid pestering me or wrapping themselves around my leg as I am trying to walk to another room. In trying to type this, in my bedrrom, I have been bothered no less than 5 times in 2 minutes. GAH!!
It's not wrong to want all of those things. And one day, you'll have that someone. Be patient.

I can only imagine how my tune will change one day when I have kids of my own; though nannying is a pretty close 2nd, so I've kinda been there.
Being patient is hard, but I do tell myself that someone is out there. Its just hard right now because I'm surrounded by so much freaking "love".
Hope your back is doing better and that the kids don't drive you bonker before noon.
