This blizzard will be a while, domi a domani, and will not be getting lighter. I would stock up if I were you - assuming that you are able to, of course.

Weeks of a blizzard. To gather together several here could prove lethal before long.
Killua could require shelter. He is young but promising. I do not know if you remember him from the Incursion. I have two extra rooms. My own place can suffice.
Unless you have an alternative suggestion. I have not stayed out a storm before.

I have, several times. This is bad, I grant, but the North of Betairun sees storms such as you can't imagine... except that folk there are always prepared, and we are not. We will need blankets and firewood, more than food - men can hunger for far longer than they can endure cold. You may be reluctant to leave your house, as I am, I confess but these gardens - if there is a well-sheltered place within them, they'd do better than anywhere else.
This Killua is a rather restless lad, isn't he? You and I, I think, can manage with none but each other for company and little to do for a while, but any one we take along must be able to manage it as well. Weeks of confinement take their toll even upon placid souls, and none of those we might be interested in are placid.

He is indeed restless. I will then warn him specifically, and we shall not add to you and I.
Blankets I have. Firewood will take gathering. But I can gather. And food as well we can do, though it will be in the cans you so enjoy. And then you can tell me more of Betaruin.

Better so, perhaps - if there are any others whose favor you wish, that man Doom perhaps, we might maintain contact and pool our resources without staying together.
Ah, cans. Delightful. But they keep, which is wise. We won't lack for firewood in the gardens... do you know if there is shelter inside? And then I will tell you of storms so mighty, even I cannot conjure up their like.
Mm, I get the bulk of my food from the river, and that will freeze over soon... but I'm sure this city doesn't lack for cans, for all the unhappiness of that fact.

Tell your girlfriend to start unpacking her fur coats, then. She'll need them.

But thank you for the advice; I'll definitely take it, even if it doesn't end up being so long. Better safe than sorry.

It will be long. This is knowing, not guesswork.
