My dad's Facebook status update:

Had the new hip replaced April 29th. Ditched the walker two days later, already driving car and going up and down stairs. I sure the pain pills help but no question I am feeling better and may still make my audition for Dancing with the Stars. Make me a Super Model was not interested in "husky sizes".

Things did a 180 this morning. Yes!

I'm looking into this nanny position where they are requesting someone who speaks German. I think that's pretty rad so I hope I get it.

I'm feeling really defeated lately. Today was a hard day. I cried a lot.

Things got better but they're not fixed. Tomorrow's a new day....but I'd rather the problems not be there tomorrow when I wake up. And unfortunately, they very much will be.
