Long ago, in a galaxy far, far... oh wait... I had a very close friend who I have grown apart from who was the ONLY person who could tell when I was black-out drunk. It got to the point where she refused to tell me what had happened while I was 'gone'. I seldom drink anymore!

Glad that you made it back safe and I like that you stood up for the girl in your hiking group. Some adventures are the ones we can't stop talking about, isn't it? Especially when friends get together.

I got real drunk in Italy at least once, and thank goodness for my classmates being around! I don't think anything awful could've happened, but you never know. I'm glad you and she had each other's backs :)
