Nooooo

Yesterday I backed into David's landlord's car and scraped some paint off both of our cars. My beautiful new car! :( The landlord's Saturn wasn't as bad as mine since it already had a thick coating of filth over it to protect it as I slid by it. Since I have low moral grounds and the car already had identical scrapings on the other side, I said ( Read more... )

That's odd...why is your LJ segment taking up so much horizontal space?

Anyway, the idea of you settling down enough to have kids is rather unsettling. :p

Why? I think you have the wrong impression of me. I'm not some crazy party girl.

I dunno, you just seem to enjoy sex a lot.

I've been brainwashed. Don't mind me. :)

au contraire. waiting makes your life harder. if you want to have an easy time with life, always do the hard stuff now now now. the best thing you can ever do with hardship is put it behind you. thing about hardship is that it widens your perspective and everything gets easier afterward. so it follows that if you do hard stuff sooner, life gets easier sooner. by waiting to do something, you are giving up your easy life until you do it. the time you spend in excess difficulty, inbetween the times when you could have done something and when you finally did do it, is the price you pay.

When I said "easy" life, I meant I didn't want to befuddle myself with some serious career, debt, or any of that great American stuff. I really don't have anything hard to do right now :) The waiting is for the family, the kids, the establishments I want, and the opportunity to travel are things that I have to wait for.

i don't suppose you think you'll be able to do all that at once? or for that matter, *any* of it while you have kids... we already learned you can't travel ten feet while listening to voice messages.. ice burn ;)

if you don't want to have a serious career, the whole of your life will be tough by comparison. you will still find things to stress you out. furthermore if you don't want a serious career, don't have kids!!

Why are you ragging down on me like this? I'm not saying I'm going to have an easy life, I'm saying I WANT to have an easy life. I said I wanted to make a lot of money at one point, and that indicates some sort of career. Even so, I don't need a serious career to raise kids.

I don't know why I laughed so hard at this. BUT I CAN DRIVE! Someone shouldn't park behind me like that...and I was listening to my voice messages :(
