[Jeanne managed to figure out the phone call feature on the Pokegear! So after a rather confusing conversation with her apparent 'son from the future', she found it only fit to call the alleged father. Admittedly, she's not exactly sure what she's going to say, but it's difficult to simply ignore the topic.]

... Tao Ren? May I have a word?

[Honestly, he had been about to make this call himself when his PokeGear started ringing there in his hand. Faulters for a moment before flipping it open, taking a deep breath and exhaling before answering.

Here goes nothing.]

Yeah. I was about to ask the same myself.

[If nothing else, he didn't deny her call. Wasn't that a step forward? Even if she had to risk making a fool of herself.]

Men. [He had a mildly awkward tone. Sure, he likes the kid enough, and there's nothing to disprove that he is his son fron the future, it's just he... wasn't expecting who the mother was.]

Mm... [She pauses for a moment, unsure of what to say anymore. Certainly, she was willing to accept the fact that the boy was her son. She would never, ever abandon someone who thought that they needed her. Perhaps... it was better to consider the general situation first.]

You're going back from him as well, aren't you? It seems that he has another boy for company at the moment, so he won't be lonely, at least... For that I am thankful.
