It's all about learning to translate things from House-speak, and if Wilson hasn't worked that out by now, he's an idiot :D

I mean, he even pushed things with Stacey till that broke, if he doesn't want to push his friendship with Wilson, it obviously means more to him than she ever did.

They aren't much for the conventional expressions of affection, but when I heard House say that, and how he said it, you could see it took him a lot of effort to come out with even something so minor, but for him, it was the equivalent to singing and dancing and declarations of undying love :D

Hehehe, when I wrote this, I hadn't actually seen WaM, and now the only thing keeping me from wishing I still hadn't seen it is the knowledge that there's GOT to be a big payoff at the end of all this angst, cause the show wouldn't be the same without House and Wilson as friends.

If I keep telling myself that, I'll make it through the next few angsty episodes, I'm sure *G*
