I didn't do everything I might have done in Tucson. With another day or so, I'd have gone to Tombstone. And there's a walking path downtown called the Turquoise Trail that looked like I'd like it.

But what I try to do is find a bunch of things I want to do and prioritize them. I rarely make it through the whole list.

That sounds like a fabulous trip! I love Tucson. I've spent a fair amount of time there in years past. It's one of my favorite places out west.

I really love the Saguaro cactuses. They're wonderful because they remind so much of the westerns I loved as a kid.

I'm glad you got to meet your online friend. That's always cool when it goes as well as it obviously did for you!

It also reminds me of old Westerns. Not really a genre I was ever really into, but those are iconic American images.
