There's a whole series via a Baltimore Zionist group. This one was of personal interest because I am vaguely planning a trip to Ireland.

Pat and I have been involved in my office/guest room archaeology. It has produced some stunning things, including many a note for stories or bits of plays that I have no idea what they refer to at all. Clearly I need to be more detailed in my notes to myself.

The talks all sound interesting. One of the good things about living in a university city has been that we do get interesting speakers here. I've heard some amazing writers, and even met several over the years.

I am envious, however, of our available forums.

These were virtual talks (except Fran Lebowitz's). DC does have Profs and Pints, however, which puts on interesting lectures at various bars.

I was decluttering today too. I went through a box of stuff from traveling and amazingly tossed a bunch of receipts without looking at what they were for. But now I want to rescue the Pret a Manger bag from the trash.
