These are some of my favorites too (definitely my favorites in season 3, which I otherwise find a bit tremendous to re-watch). I love David's acting in these eps, it just brilliant, my favorite bit is at the end when he is the Doctor pretending to be John Smith and he acts subtly different from both. He's amazing!

My friend thought I was a nutso shipper when I pointed out the similarities between the conversation between Ten and Joan and the one between him and Rose when he regenerated. It's so there though in it similarities and most especially in its differences.
