Using my shipper goggles, I can see this as being about Rose. haha. Sorry about my BSC shipping. But I've got to do something to save this episode from being a total failure. I never even questioned that this was about Rose so...there you go. This episode fails to impress me to but you managed to mention all my favorite bits. Goes up to eleven indeed.

Haha. What did you like about it? I mean it's not like a blight on mankind, but I just can't think of anything about this episode that makes me want to watch it again. Well, maybe David Tennant in a tux, but that really isn't saying much about the plot or script.

I was fine with the plot and I like family dynamics. Martha's family appears to me the most normal of the 3 companions, so it was nice to see some ordinariness and to see that ordinariness intersecting with the extraordinary in a smaller setting than the BLOWING UP THE WORLD stuff that generally leaves me meh.
