I was so shellshocked and upset after I finished reading it, because a) Dumbledore DIED!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! and b) no one else that was up in Maine with me had read it, so I couldn't talk about it with them, and I couldn't spoil it for them.

I like how the books have gotten darker. Makes me more interested. I thought this one was much better than Order of the Phoenix, but Goblet of Fire is still my fave.

Thoughts?

I cannot wax on enough about how much I love Ginny. I was actually really afraid Ginny was going to die. But it just makes me grin to think of their first kiss, and how sweet they were together...SIGH!

Also, I think Dumbledore was in on his own death. He and Snape planned it together so that Snape could win Voldemort's confidences. In the seventh book I'm sure we'll find out why Dumbledore ever had reason to trust Snape, when all we've seen is why he SHOULDN'T trust Snape...

Yeah, I'm still kinda thinking there's more to Snape that we have yet to discover. Dumbledore must have trusted him for a reason, and it's too neat to discover at the end of all the books that Harry was right to hate Snape throughout.

Also, yes, I was pleased to see Harry and Ginny together. She turned into such a cool chick. And I like to think that her crush finally came to fruition. I hope after Harry ends up dealing with Voldemort that he and Ginny get back together.
