Also, for you Buffy fans (which really might just be me... and bella_luna), there's a blink-and-you'll-miss-it cameo by one Anthony Stewart Head (aka Giles), which made me go all fangirl in my head for a second.

Ooh! Does he sing?
It's exciting whether he sings or not, but his voice makes me go gooey inside.

He doesn't sing. He has one quick one-liner of dialogue asking about Sweeney's shop. I think he was probably one of the original group of actors who sang "Attend the Tale of Sweeney Todd" at the beginning, but that got cut.

*crosses fingers for the DVD*

I concur! I've been humming some of the songs since I saw it. And DAMN was there some splendid acting in there. Helena Bonham Carter is great.
