I wear a 10.5/11w, and it fits me closer to a 10.5 - a teensy bit tight. And I have 18" calves and can zip up with the laces tied almost completely shut, so by loosening the laces (and still letting the tongue cover your shin except for maybe the top inch or so) you could probably get up to about a 20"-21" calf.
