Boston-area Clothing Swap...this Sunday!
Boston-area Fatshionistas (or Fatshionistas willing to take a daytrip to the Boston area), what are you doing on Sunday, January 21st?
We have seventeen fattastic, fattabulous, and fatshionable folks RSVP'd already. Seventeen! Bringing clothes! To swap! Don't *you* want to join us as we squee and pose and help each other zip up and offer solicited opinions and clap and stuff?
***Since this event will be held in a private home, please do not publicly re-post. Please do, however, forward this along to any of your fat friends who might like to come with you to this fun Clothing Swap!***
Here’s a fun opportunity to exchange those great clothes that you don’t wear for something new-to-you! This is a great way to freshen up your wardrobe, purge the items you haven't worn lately and know you probably will never wear, and reinvent your style a little bit! Unclaimed clothing will be donated to a local charity and all the proceeds of this swap will go to NOLOSE (www.nolose.org).
What: A Fatshionista Clothing Swap
Who: Fatshionistas (fat+fashion!) who have swappable clothing sized 18/20-30/32, 1X-4X
When: Sunday, January 21st 1pm-4pm
Where: A private home in Somerville, MA with free street parking and the Red Line T and bus lines all just a few short blocks away
Why: Proceeds will benefit NOLOSE (www.nolose.org)
How much: $5-$15 sliding scale
Yum: Cookies will be provided!

Oh, and...Can't come to this Swap, but you have some new or gently-worn clothes you'd like to donate? Contact us to arrange pick-up/delivery if you are in the Boston area.
