Death fat OOTDs

Just a few work outfits from the past couple of weeks. I wonder if clothing companies see a spike in shopping near the end of the cold season and the hot season, when folks get bored and a little stir-crazy in their closets and want something new to throw into the mix. The bright green cardigan in the first pic was definitely a ( TIRED OF MY WINTER CLOSET impulse buy. )

I love the green stripy cardigan. I also agree about Target's trouser socks developing a bad case of suck this season. The package of black ones had some that were like they've always been and some that were super sheer and short and tight. That makes me sad, because I hate paying a lot for plain trouser socks (the black ones just disappear....I'll start with matching pairs and end up with 3 odd socks in different lengths).

I haven't had luck with Target's trouser socks in a couple years. :(

That pink dress in the first picture looks awesome -- comfortable, but still "dressy", very versatile, but boldly coloured. Love it!

I love red and green together! (And pink and green), and wear both combos often. I don't know if it's quite as strongly associated with Christmas in the UK as it is in the US. I also think being Jewish probably makes me immune to caring if people think I look like a misplaced elf at other times of the year.

Also I really like that pleated orange number. As a child I inherited a hand-me-down peachy orange dress with knife edge pleats and a lace collar and anything that reminds me of it immediately makes me squee!
