ISO stretchy, linen-like pants

In the middle of July, I'll be heading to Egypt for about 10 days for vacation (woohoo!). Unfortunately, my day to day wardrobe is likely a bit too tight and too revealing, based on everything I've read and the folks I've talked to. So, I'm trying to pick up a few pieces I can wear throughout the trip, but I want these to be things I'd like to wear ( Read more... )

Not linen, but very-warm-vweather appropriate: Deva (devalifewear.com, which sadly seems to be on its last legs), Dharma Trading. Or you could find someone on etsy to do custom.

It sounds like a wonderful trip; have fun!

Thank you!

Normally I'd go Etsy, but the thing here is that this really isn't my usual. . . aesthetic, ya know? So, I don't wan to drop too much money on something there's a moderate chance I may never wear again. That's why I was hoping there were options at mass retailers I perhaps overlooked.

I don't think the lack of stretch in the ON pants would be an issue, since in both cases the waistband is stretchy and the legs are generously sized. But maybe I am just thinking about this in terms of my own body, since the waist is generally where I have fit issues! But otherwise, they sound perfect for the trip you describe (and of course the price is right).

I usually make my linens so they fit perfectly, but this place has rayon and cotton pants that might work (plus their whites are dye-able) http://www.dharmatrading.com/html/eng/1369825-AA.shtml?lnav=clothing_women.html

Have you tried Catherine's? I know they aren't at the height of young fashion on most there stuff but bottoms are bottoms and I've had good luck with them for comfortable work pants. Also they have good sales and if you order online you can have it shipped to the store (or Lane B) for free.
