Good chub-rub-resistant types of fabric to sew wrap pants out of?

Hi! I haven't worn pants very often in a while, but I've been looking at tutorials for making wrap pants and eyeing my sewing machine. (I don't have tons of garment sewing experience, but the patterns look simple enough!) I don't have near as bad chub-rub-holes in my wrap pants as I do in jeans! stay away from textured fabrics, obviously (like courdoroy) and use a flat woven textile as opposed to twill or herringbone. The pattern is really easy, make sure you give yourself enough butt scoop so they don't split with movement. If you have very prominent buttocks, a few darts in the back vastly improve fit. I stay away from ribbon as the drawstring, as with lots of wear it turns into a cord and cuts through you; instead I get (well, make) one inch double fold bias tape and sew the opening shut and use that for drawstring.

Cotton and linen have both been fine for me - for some reason, wrap pants don't seem to be as affected by chub rub as jeans. I did have some pilling, but nothing drastic or visible when I had the pants on.
