Evans Sizing?

I'm pretty confused by the Evans sizing. I am looking into the following two things from Evans. I assume the sizing is UK (right?) I wear an XXL in tops from Target, sometimes a L in H&M, XXL in Old Navy, anywhere from an XL to a 2X in F21. (42DD chest) The one thing I have from ASOS is a size 18 and it's very loose which is how I wanted it (it's ( Read more... )

Yeah. I did that. I just want a second opinion. Last time I referred to a size chart I ordered way too big for myself :( I think my body is just awkwardly proportioned haha

And it's either I am measuring wrong or just proportioned weird. According to my measurements I should be in the size 20s, which I don't think I am because I once purchased a size 20 off of here from the UK and it was too big for me. :/

I'm a 42D and Evans 16 (USA size) fits me perfectly, but I only have one things from them and it's a Clements Ribeiro dress. I'm 46-39-49, for reference, which is a little bigger than what they're size chart says for 16, but judging by the fit, an 18 might have been too big. Again, I can only speak about one dress. If you're buying from evansusa.com the sizing will be American. I also wear a 16 in ASOS and Dorothy Perkins, but usually an 18 in American stores. Hope this helps!

Evans carries a US 10 - US 26/28 || UK 14 - UK 30/32 so order according to what sizes show up on the page for you. I'm a US 18/20 (42H cup size) and would probably order a UK20 for a snug fit in the arms. A US 12 or 14 would probably suit you fine! I think Evans generally runs true to size but they go by WOMEN'S sizing, not Misses' the way Target and Old Navy do.

Sure. It's in-between juniors sizing and women's. Misses is essentially "young women's." The clothing isn't cut as straight through the hips & chest as juniors clothing but isn't as generous as women's sizing. If you're unfamiliar with juniors (I'm not sure what you have over there!), juniors clothing is cut for teenage girls. Forever 21 uses juniors sizing, for example.

Order on the small side. I have two similar cardigans from them from last year that I don't even like to wear because they are too baggy, the shoulders hang down to my elbows and they slide down the back. I really hope this 'cardis with no closures' thing ends soon. I need closure.
