eShakti now goes to 6X

eShakti now has sizes XS to 6X (0 to 36W).  I have had mixed luck with them (I don't like some of their fabrics, and there are some sizing issues) but it's always good news to see extended size ranges available in newer styles.

Plus they're having a 25% off & free customization this month.

I just saw this via an email from them. It is a sad sad day for my credit cards... the size limitations were what kept me from buying tons! Now if Boden ever expands their range, I will be in serious trouble. :)

Just make sure you're willing to wait. And wait. And wait. With little to no communication from customer service at eShakti.

The update is that I eventually received the dress, many weeks later than promised. The dress, although "customized", did not fit me at all. Customer service stopped responding to my emails and phone calls. I filed a chargeback with my credit card company, and the full payment was refunded.

The variability in eShakti is the most frustrating part. Sometimes they are at your door in two weeks, sometimes it takes two months. Sometimes the sizing is perfect, sometimes it's way off. Sometimes the fabric is good quality, and sometimes it feels like the cheapest of cheap jersey.

The horror stories scare me, but once I have a job, I'd be willing to give them a shot. I think I'd have better luck not customizing, now that I can just order something in a 28.
