I'm built similarly... Most of my weight is in my stomach and above my ass. Lane Bryant's jeggings fit me pretty well. There's still some room in the legs, but it's not too bad.

I agree, though only some of LB's jeggings fit me. One style will fit, but the next will be too tight in the waist in the exact same size. I can't wear LB's "T3" jeans at all -- I need the stretchiness of jeggings. (Though it's worth noting that they seem to be moving to calling them "skinny jeans" -- sometimes the website will say something's a skinny jean while the tag in the store will say jegging.)

I've found Torrid's jeggings to be VERY apple-shaped, to the point where I actually found one once where the waist gaped on me while the legs were too tight. As the most apple-y apple who ever appled, I never thought I'd see that day. But (again, depending on the style) I've also found ones that fit great and DIDN'T GAPE IN THE BUTT.

Yep! I get diaper sag all the time. Lane Bryant's pants are an enigma. Sometimes I don't fit anything in the brick and mortar stores, and once or twice they've been so big on me, I had to go down to a 24.

I'm a liiiiittle too big (but only in the stomach) for most Torrid jeans, so I haven't found much I'm happy with there. It doesn't help that I'm high waisted.

i tried on the jeggings at the beginning of the summer and the ankles were really too tight on me! but maybe i should try them again and just need to get used to them.

thanks for the advice!

Someone did post with a similar problem a while back, and these were suggested. I haven't tried them myself yet, so I can't vouch for them: http://www1.macys.com/shop/product/levis-plus-size-jeans-590-fuller-waist-bootcut-oceana-wash?ID=636199&CategoryID=40438#fn=sp%3D1%26spc%3D126%26ruleId%3D60%26slotId%3D29

This is a great recommendation, the 590's are the best fitting non-jeggings I've found as an extreme apple/no-butt shaped person!

Oh, and Sears also carries the Levi's 590's

Try Lane Bryant's T3 jeans.

If you live near a JC Penney outlet, you might be able to find LB jeans there for about $15. I'll check to see if they have that style when I go to Louisville this weekend.

I thank you for starting this. I'm exactly the same shape and jeans are my nemesis. I love a good pair, but damn if I don't have saggy ass in every damn pair.

I've never understood why so many non-hourglassy fats recommend lb for pants when lb very obviously makes the majority of their clothes to only fit a certain body "type" with the exception of the 'Right Fits' - which still got non-hourglassy cuts wrong. Which is why lb no longer makes them?

Anyway, all bitching aside, I have the same trouble with fit in jeans. I found a decent pair at Macy's - the Style & Co brand, fit both my waist and thighs, they're just ugly! Old Navy tends to make their pants to fit apple shapes. I also find that some of the more matronly brands tend to make jeans to fit narrow hips, big tummies and flat bums.

Good luck!
