The Chie Mihara shoes - what size shoes do you usually wear? And are they too short, or too narrow?

i usually wear between a 6.5-7. i have slightly wide feet but general sizes usually work. in this case, i found the shoes to be fine as far as width goes except at the very widest part of my feet (toes) where it pinched just a tiny bit but i think that's due to the size not being EXACTLY right for me (a tiny bit short since the US equivalent is between a 6-6.5). hope this was helpful!

That tunic isn't something I would have picked out, but it looks so good on you I'm kinda blown away! And all I can say to that coat is; wow! Missphit became Kristin Miles.

I've purchased from Kristin Miles (the site you linked), and wound up returning a couple of things that were smallish (I think some items are junior plus and some are plus). Good quality, cute stuff.

the coat that i bought was definitely NOT a junior 1x. i'm quite wide at the hips so i usually have to bump up a size to avoid gaping or inability to button lower buttons (EDIT:the fabric has no stretch and yet as you can see in the picture i can definitely wrap the ends of the lower half over each other). but the fit may have to do with the cut + my body shape? in any case, unfortunate that sizing doesn't seem to be consistent with the brand :( i'll have to keep that in mind for future purchases.

That coat is adorable on you. It's photographed pretty poorly on the site (seriously, you can't even tell what the brocade looks like!) so I NEVER would've thought it could look so chic, but now that I've seen it on you.. I'm considering splurging on it for myself.

seriously, i totally love this coat. it's actually cheaper on the website than at the local store where i bought it (by a decent amount!) but i traded in some of my old clothes and got credit applied to the purchase so i'm not TOO bummed out by it. besides, as you said, it isn't that great looking on the site so i probably wouldn't have been mad enough over it to buy.

thanks about the hair! i just did it at home from a box. didn't turn out the shade it was supposed to but is nice enough to keep :P
