Have you looked at asos recently? They have lads of cute, affordable summer dresses that would totally work for a wedding ( ... )

Those are all cute- I like the last one a lot- but ASOS for some reason always seem to be out of 18s, and usually 20 on top is too big for both of us. But thank you!!

yeah, i think ASOS doesn't really do CURVE in 18. their straight size 18 is generous -- i couldn't resist looking, and think i need to buy this for myself!

also, if you're in London I have an amazing tailor in Soho who can work absolute wonders with anything, high end or not.

Nowhere near London but there are usually cheap returns available from Bangor (Wales, not Northern Ireland, obviously) so it's possible... you could PM me their details? :)

I wouldnt suggest E-Shakti- at least not when it comes to something that is time sensitive, and you're over-seas. Does E-Shakti now ship to the UK? they only recently started shipping to Canada- and their service is lackluster at best- example, I ordered a dress on March 15th 2012. I didn't actually get the dress until April 23rd 2012- I wasn't given any notification of shipment, just a knock from the postman asking for a duties charge. I also find their dresses (E-Shakti) off the rack are short (I'm 5'1 for record)- I also feel that way about Asos (their dresses being really really short ( ... )

My home address is in the US, so my mom could ship it pretty easily. It's not suuuuper time sensitive but your comment gives me pause for sure.

The other suggestions are helpful, I'll check them out! :)
