Hey there!

I don't have any experience with this particular seller, but I looove my infinity dress (although I usually wear it the same way everytime, despite its "infinite" possibilities haha) If you're worried, I'd take her up on the "ballroom skirt" option. It's 15 bucks more but it'll give you a little more room so you won't have to worry as much about cling. Also keep in mind fabric-- do you own any jersey dresses? Some people think jersey is a little unflattering when it's thinner like this. She says she carries organics... maybe spring for the organic cotton too? It'll be just as soft/flowy but less cling-inducing.

Whatever you choose- the great thing about Etsy is you can ask your seller all these questions! I'd say at least send her a message and see how you feel about it. Good luck!! :)

I'm about your size. I carry most of my weight in my hips, so I tend to be 28 on top, 30 on the bottom. I don't have this exact dress, but I have one in a very similar style with the banded waist, and I LOVE it. I tried it on and was all "OMG, I have curves! And they look really good!"

I love that this has straps wide enough to wear a decent bra with. I'm sorry I don't have specifics about this dress and/or seller, but I can enthusiastically endorse the style.

What a fabulous dress! I am an apple shape size 26-30 and I personally would feel very confident wearing that. (now I kinda want to order one...love the fact that she can make it in so many different fabrics!) Also I would say go for the jersey (especially if it's a modal blend!), I think jersey has such a nice feel and drape and you don't have to worry so much about shrinkage as you do with cotton. (you could probably wash the dress on the gentle cycle and air-dry it...save on dry-cleaning bills!)

I have a similar dress (from the Target clearance rack, of all places) that comes down to just below the knees but is very similar on top to the dress you posted. It's very flattering on me and like vanillafluffy said above, the fact that you can wear a regular bra with it is great.

I say go for it and post pics! What color will it be?

I actually am going to go purchase fabric to make that dress tomorrow for myself, assuming I can find decent fabric at a relatively cheap price (I need FIVE yards for a dress above the knee)

A couple things I'm changing about the "pattern" (which is really a big circle, a rectangle for the waist, and two LOOOONG rectangles for the straps) is I've got a LONG torso and my natural waist (the area where I'm slimmest) is really high (4" or so above my belly button) so I'm putting the waist there instead of where my jeans sit, and making it out of slightly stretchier fabric to see if MAYBE I can get away without wearing a bra.

I've worn a similar style dress, and if you get it in a comfortable fabric, it's excellent. If the fabric has no stretch, tying it in different ways can be annoying (there's videos on youtube of the various ways to tie) but I like light jersey knits.

So yeah. No idea about this seller, but I LOVE the infinity dresses.
