New hair!

I just wanted to say thanks to all you lovely folks who showed off your chic short cuts recently. Though I wasn't one of the OPs on those hair questions, you gave me the courage to go for it with a bold new style! It's shorter than I've ever had it since elementary school, and I totally love it. It definitely feels fatshionable!

Awesome. I see you're a Firefly fan? LOVE! <3

Your icon does say "Srenity" though, made me double-take.

Thanks! I'm a big proponent of the bold move right now. I'd say find a stylist you trust and go for it! :-)

Very cute. Hair twins (only I'm graying, and the gray gives me hair halo). How much product/work is it to keep it looking good? Right now mine is bun/pony tail bait, and I am tired of it.

Well, then secret hair twins, because I'm graying but dyed.

That cut is with no product and no work at all. The stylist had ruffled a little mousse into it while it was still damp and it looked extra cute when it dried, but I know I'm too lazy to do anything to it. So I washed it and let it dry naturally last night after I got home from the salon and this was the end result. Very low maintenance!

Hah, I have to make time to dye, I just wonder if the white hair will still stick straight up when it's dyed.

I'm actually about 75% gray (been going gray since I turned 20 - it's genetic), and that's a problem I've never encountered. :-)

I really love the new cut-- it makes you look MUCH more youthful! Awesome!

Also, it really is pretty quick to put a dab of mousse in your hair, and it can make an awesome difference (I have super thick very curly hair, yikes). But I can understand if you don't want to bother with it!

Thank you so much! And yes, you're right. I'll probably pick some up for when I need a more professional, polished look.
