Truly adorable. I love that you pulled out old un-favorites--reminded me to shop the closet instead of, y'know, shopping.

I actually bought a pair of cognac Kady boots based *solely* on your OOTDs & now I love them so much I make outfits specifically so I can wear them.

yay! that's so great to hear! I tell you, those Kady boots are worth their weight, plus my not unsignificant weight, in some kind of precious metal. I bought a second pair when I found them and am keeping them until next year when my first pair totally craps out from me wearing them, oh, EVERY SINGLE DAY.

I know what you mean about shopping in the closet. I have been getting lots of inspiration from this community to do that, to try things differently, to go without a cardigan every once and awhile, etc.

Thank you for doing this project, loved all your photos but especially love that first plaid dress. Yes, there's a lot of pink in it but not overwhelmingly so.

Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed the project - I'll have to do it again sometime, maybe next time a month without cardigans... which will be super difficult for me, but I think I can do it.

Loved the project as well. I actually love the ON dress in the first pic; I Think your instincts were correct to hold on to it! I am not sure I would pair is with the black cardi, though. Or is that navy? If it's navy, I think that would be fabulous. :) I don't think the pink is too obnoxious in that dress, especially if play up a different color from the pattern. If you had a green or blue or even white sweater to wear with it, that would be cute, too!

I have been enjoying these posts immensely. :D

Thank you! I think the best thing about the dress is all the cardigans I can wear with it. The cardi is actually navy, it does look pretty good with it in person. I also enjoy wearing a green cardigan with it, it definitely plays down the pink.

I'm so glad you've been enjoying the posts! I have been enjoying your comments!

I have the first Old Navy dress too! And I cannot get rid of it, ever. I'm sick of the pattern, but it's soooo comfortable and light.

I think mine has only hung on this long because I NEVER wore it regularly, except as a bathing suit cover up, until this past year.
