Hey Fats,
Hope you've all levelled down now after the holiday celebrations!
A couple of outfits centred around the Beth Ditto stained glass dress that my boyfriend's Mum bought me for Christmas :)

Thanks, me too! I always have problems with "nice clothes," that I want somewhere nice and proper, like a dinner out, to wear them, but I think I just need to start wearing them for daily activities, university, shopping, because otherwise this stuff will get lost in my wardrobe :(

Totally! I think dressing up can and should be done anytime...with the exception of evening gowns. LOL

Haha, I've seen so many fats look wonderful in normal day to day life it's comments like yours which make me bother to dress up :D It's a bit of fun!

I think it looks best without the jacket / other skirt ontop. I'm not a fan of striped shirt with it. Too much going on

Yes me too, I like the simplest look. Really wanted to show the jacket, especially as it's cold here at the moment so I can't really have my shoulders out :(

brr i know what you mean. I was going to wear a skirt the other day but the ice and snow made me change into leggings with jeans ontop just to stay cosy!

don't wear the skirt with the dress and the leggings
don't wear the jacket with the dress

the jacket looks ill-fitting.

dress + leggings + a shrug = awesome

you're not kidding about the your hair being lovely. always wanted to have that kind of length. anyway, i agree with entheogeneric's comments. your favorite look is the best one. and the jacket can hopefully be altered for another outfit.

Aw thank you, I was going to get it cut shorter but I couldn't bear the thought, I've had long hair all my life!

I love posting to this community because of the constructive points I get from members about what to work in/out of my future outfits :)

My friend has that necklace, and the thing is, it goes with everything! I'm jealous I didn't get it when I had the chance :C

Have a look on eBay if I were you, they've got them really cheap. I think mine came shipped from Singapore but was only around £4 (GBP) anyway :D
