So.. I've been lurking a while, commented on other people's posts.. but never put up any pics of my own.. until now. Gonna take the gamble and the leap since I think I got a couple of cute ones tonight, so I guess I'll share..
Love the jeans--I can never find jeans with a wash that looks as nice as yours. Envious!
Just a couple suggestions: First, maybe next time wear the tank under the mesh shirt? Also, I'm not feeling the headband and glasses--too busy around your ears! Maybe try some contacts (if possible!) if you're going to rock the headband, or save the headband for another time if you're going to wear glasses.
I originally tried wearing the mesh on top, but it's cut really short and tight so it doesn't want to stay down and rolls up.. Didn't think that would work so I wore it under so it'd stay down.. may try it on top again though anyways.
I can lose the headband, sure.. Mostly I use it to try and control what's let of my hair. Hair style and hairline are my biggest problems right now, trying to look feminine. However, the glasses are non-negotiable. I'm incredibly nearsighted with a slight astigmatism without them. I've got a few different pairs I wear in different styles, but I can't do contacts.
I'll definitely take the other suggestions though. Really, instead of the headband I should just have a stylist look at my hair and give me some ideas on how it should look.

Oh damn, that's gotta be annoying. If under is the only way the mesh shirt works, that's the way it works! :D
I'm sure a stylist will have some good ideas for you. It looks like you're letting some color grow out, or is that just the light? In either case, your hair is a lovely color and it suits you. :)

Nope, haven't dyed my hair in ages.. it's probably just the light. MY family's got wierd hair genes so I've got everything from dark brown to light blonde /strawberry blonde in between.. I think it pulls off a highlighting effect when done right. I also have really babyfine hair, so you can often see light through it. I've been growing it out, but with the really high hairline I have, I'm not sure what to do with it.. (I usually wear it pulled back in a ponytail for work)
It looks like you have some things in your pants pockets? Hard to tell from the pic. If that's right, I bet you can achieve a shapelier silhouette if you take them out.
Hah! Yeah, forgot to take my wallet and keys out from work earlier in the day. Normally if I'm going out I transfer everything over to my purse.. (the curse of living dual lives.. I swear that the most time-consuming aspect is the transition from one to the other than anything else.)
First: I like the mesh shirt, it's something I see other people wearing but can never get right myself! This outfit is an awesome way to spice up the basic black t-shirt with jeans outfit!
Second: You seem to have hair that's similar to my moms -very fine and straight. I think bangs look cute on you, but have you ever tried side swept bangs? I have somewhat thin hair in the bang area and if I do full front bangs it's really obvious and spread out, but if I sweep it over it looks way fuller. It takes a litte training to get your hair to stay put but it might be a good option for you, just to add some variety to your hair style options.
