Help!
Hello everyone! I was referred to this community by another member who said you guys would be able to help me! I'm Erin, I'm 23, and I live in central CA... I'm not sure what else to say about myself except that I love sewing and making clothes for myself yet I have no fashion sense so I need all the advice and help I can get!
As for my current problem, I need some advice... My brother's wedding is next weekend and I made this dress today to wear.

I'm not IN the wedding, so it's not a bridesmaid's dress, just to clarify. I love the dress, but I feel like it's missing something... some accent or finishing touch... but I can't come up with what it is missing so I am hoping all you lovelies will have some good ideas for me!

Close up of the fabric to show the detail. The dress is made up of 2 layers of fabric. The bottom layer is a crepe satin and the top layer is sheer with embroidery and sequins. The layers are sewn together on the bodice but on the skirt part they are separate, meaning that for the bottom hem I did each fabric separately instead of both together in a single hem.
This one shows some elastic ribbon covered in sequins that I bought when I bought the fabric for the dress. I don't know if I want to use it on the dress or not, and if I do want to use it, I have no idea where on the dress to put it.
Suggestions anyone??
Oh and I'm also planning on making a purse out of the leftover fabric, but I'm not sure what type and I haven't bought/made any jewelry or accessories (besides shoes) so I'd love suggestions for that stuff too!!
