The reviewers on the JMS site had a common complaint, the bra part is sewn too close to the top of the suit and had a tendency to ride up and that it had "show through" before hitting the water on the lighter colors. I know you ordered the black one, but have you had a problem with either of those?
You said you're a solid 30 on their size chart, but what size are you at someplace like Lane Bryant? How much too big was the 26? What about through the bust?
I'm asking so I hopefully won't have to return a suit because this is *exactly* what I was looking for strap-wise and less than $90. I'm a solid LB 26/28 top, 28P bottom & 46DD.
I did not experience any ride up or show through. In fact, the bra hit a lot lower than I expected it to - that's one reason it isn't going to perkify anyone's boobs. Maybe they fixed the issue
( ... )
I also have this suit so I will give my review too. I have a brown one, apparently I ordered before they changed the color choices. I ordered a 26 regular. Mine fits well and its not too big or too small but I did have a problem like the OP with the bra not being very supportive. The strap in the back is supposed to help with that but it didn't for me. The top strap was choking the back of my neck if that is understandable at all. So I had my mom alter it for me. She cut some length out of the two back straps and sewed them back down tighter. It still isn't perfect but it's good for lap swimming. I haven't had any problem with chlorine or anything.
I also ordered one of their chlorine-resistant suits but had to send it back b/c the torso was unbelievably short, like I couldn't even get it up over my shoulders.

I've never heard of that - I wonder what the point is?
