Not that we really have had a summer here Upstate NY. It snowed through April and we've yet to get the soul sucking heat and humidity that I'll take 100 times over our winters here. The NY State Fair is around the corner and for those of us who live here, the pretty much says that's it for summer. I feel ripped off somehow. And I've been so busy

I think it's fantastic that you're doing so well with your new position at work, and I hope you get settled in with the changes to your hours/commute soon and it gets easier for you!

This summer was disappointing for me in terms of some personal goals too. I started out at the end of May by swimming a quarter of a mile every day, and by the beginning of June, I was so ill that I couldn't swim anymore and after I got better, I was just depressed and apathetic.
I keep reminding myself and you should too that just because I didn't accomplish what I meant to this summer, my opportunity to make change is not over and I can begin again.
