&; I just got back from New York City on Tuesday, and it feels amaaazing to have my own room and bed and books and laptop again, as much fun as New York was.

yay!!! (you don't mind Jacob/Bella, do you? I was overwhelmed with an overwhelming urge on the airplane.)

it was a lot of fun, but SO SO HOT! (and the drunkards and drivers were scary.) I bought a crapload of clothes though because everything there costs more except clothes XD

The Dark Knight is the best movie I've seen in a long time. And I saw Iron Man.

I'm so jealous; I'm DYING to see it. How was Iron Man? I heard it got favorable reviews (though it will never beat Batman!Christian Bale).

I would give a lot to angst with Christian Bale, and I'm not even implying angst is something else that doesn't mean angst.

Actually, the majority of NYC was suprisingly (or not-so-surprisingly) illiterate. There were parts of it, like the University area that was really hip and cool and saturated with bookshops, but otherwise it's more shopping-centric. I would say that Seattle has just as many if not more bookshops and cafes (and not all Starbucks, either).
