Ouranos picked up Paul's ring from Teja weeks ago. He still hasn't given it to him.

There's a good reason for that.

... well, it's a good reason to him, at least. He's not so sure Paul is going to like it as much as he does.

"Paul?" he calls, knocking on the door to his office.

I try not to sound too impatient -- but I am working, and I am not particularly fond of interruptions.

"Can I come in?" he asks, sounding a little more soft-spoken than usual.

"--yes," I say after a moment of hesitation.

He enters Paul's office in quite the hurry, shutting the door behind him with his foot. He definitely doesn't want the dogs interrupting this.

With hands in his pockets, he leans against the now-shut door and gives Paul a little smile.
