I'm going to pose a question. Try to keep an open mind about it.

Why would our transformed selves be more powerful than our usual selves when A) the Malnosso are the ones that transformed us in the first place and B) they can suppress our powers anyways?

... I don't recall saying a word about anyone being more or less powerful than before. I'm simply asking those who are still sane to tell me of any weaknesses they have, should restraining be necessary. Knowing weak points makes it much easier to restrain others, as I've come to realize over time.

The information would no longer be necessary once the experiment is over. I sincerely doubt it's that great of a deal to give out such information in case something should happen.

It's possible. However, I doubt anyone would be so stupid to make the attempt. It's not as if everyone who has changed has a weakness, and if they do, a mere one or two people would not be able to exploit every last one of them.
