It would appear that I am now employed here - as a librarian. While I don't mind being around books for much of the day, I find it odd that all of the drones are treating me as if I have been working there for years. I take it this is, ah, "normal" for Mayfield

It is. When I received my job as a teacher, they had been acting like I had been teaching since the beginning of the school year.

And the library definitely contains more than that. I've spent a sizable amount of time browsing the history books, myself.

I don't know yet. But something can be done, because things already have been done. And if we do nothing, then we will never learn whether or not there is something we can do.
