Writer's Block: Thanks for the Input

This is easy.

The absolute worst advice I've ever received came shortly after being laid off.  (I was laid off the day of Bush's first inauguration, if that's not an omen, I don't know what is...)

I lost my unemployment coverage due to a fight with a temp agency.

Im glad you were smart enough to say no. My mom worked in the food stamps department as a supervisor and she would have to deal with people who did that every day and I'd have to listen to it at the end of the day. Getting pregnant for money when you cant afford yourself is idioitic!
Im in complete alliance with you and go you for throwing it back in their face! Keep up the good work and show them what for.

Thanks for your words of support :)

I have to say, it wasn't a completely wasted experience, because now I know that not all people who find themselves in horrible, destitute situations are not lazy or stupid. It gave me a whole bunch of empathy for those who are less fortunate than I. :)
