I am so very glad that when I check the comm, there was a new story - by an author that I enjoy! I was actually embarassingly happy.

I will write proper feedback another time when I am actually a functioning human being as opposed to pretending to be one.

I did, but like with the actual show, it required a second viewing before I fully got the sentiment - and I will likely read it a few more times just for the sake of.

I love that the main catalyst of the story is Jeff and hair product which leads to a zany chain of events - and I love that Annie didn't fall for Abed's Jeff Impression! It was like this subtle confirmation for Abed that 'haha, you don't realize it but you guys are excellent at faking it because you're not faking it at all!' Did I read too much into that?

Anyway, yes, I enjoyed it.

Okay I'm embarrassed because well, maybe it's because I'm a little drunk right now so I don't entirely get why Annie and Jeff have to pretend they're in a secret relationship but this was really beautifully written anyway!

Also, it's a weird that I know this but there's actually no Trader Joe's in Colorado! I was going to apply to University of Denver Law School but I am seriously reconsidering it because there's no TJ's and I would died without it in college (yes I'm seriously basing this decision around a grocery store)

I totally feel you because I was sober (though running on mostly chips) and it took me a second read through to get it.

Jeff's desire to keep his ego intact is what requires their fake relationship... Sort of. Instead of my sleep-deprived, Diet Coke-driven mind trying to explain it, um, maybe you should just give it another read-through while you're sober?

It's funny that Jeff prefers to let Shirley, Abed and the rest think that him and Annie are together rather than admit the truth about his fridge and his hair product; the absurdity is very true to Greendale. I also had to read it twice like the others to really grasp it. I love how their fakeout becomes real in that casual but hot way things transpire between them, and how Abed once again knows it ahead of them.

Of course you do, it's happening right now. I'm going with the excuse that this was posted right around the time I found out I was pregnant, and now I'm 8 weeks away from my due date and NEVERMIND, LET'S TALK ABOUT ANNIE WEARING JEFF'S SHIRT.

Because this porn series I've been writing (pregnancy hormones, whatever) has begun to include Annie wearing one of Jeff's shirts to school...at his request. There'll be a whole closet thing, and her picking out clothes for him and basically they both really like his shirts.

BUT HI THIS WAS GREAT. And also, I love that Jane Austen shoutout in light of Digital Exploration's one. Awesome.
