I have never read any Harry Potter fic, probably because I came to the books/movies very, very late but omg this was so fantastic and heartfelt and sad yet hopeful. I need to go read the two pieces leading up to it immediately. IMMEDIATELY.

It really made me feel so much more for the characters than the books did.

Oh. I just found this and am just taken with all the quiet beauty. I especially love the interactions between Hermione and her mother, and the way you have her even physically anchor herself to the people around her in the midst of all her uncertainties. Well done.
