Heh. I actually haven't read her work either. Pardon me, I should have been more specific; I meant Jonathan Nolan's short story ( http://www.impulsenine.com/homepage/pages/shortstories/memento_mori.htm ). I ask because while reading it, I noticed some similarities between his writing style and yours, and wondered if he inspires you in some way.
*sighs* i still haven't been able to think about what happened, and this ... this was gorgeous. i love the ending so so much: "There’s no moment. She stops thinking about everybody else" because it's so right
