“Clearly, I’m just full of sunshine and kittens, Cameron,” he drawls. “In fact,” he adds. “I’m pretty sure I might even bleed glitter.”

Her nose wrinkles.

“Festive.”
this is everything i love about them, and this Her fingers press into her palm and then looks up, watching him as he leans back in his chair. He studies her, and she is unable to look away. His eyes are wide, dark, and the corners of his mouth curl slightly. Her gaze softens and they hold the moment, unintentionally. It shouldn’t belong to them but like everything else, it stands and she takes it.

This is her habit too. us everything i love about your writing.

"He pulls his gaze away. 'That’s the problem,' he says quietly."

Loved this line.

Oh, wow. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU, BB. I love this so much.

It shouldn’t belong to them but like everything else, it stands and she takes it.

This is her habit too.

He pulls his gaze away. “That’s the problem,” he says quietly.

This time he is really speaking to her.

I adore that part, there's something so sad resonating here and it's also so them. Gorgeous!
