Okay, that line? Kind of sums up my love for this fic. Your Ben in here? Frightening. And pitch-perfect at that. And your Juliet? I love it. There's this strange almost calm tone you have for her here, quiet, almost like acceptance, and I like that. A lot. And your Kate? Savage and angry and wild at that. Wonderful. Wonderful, wonderful fic.

i love juliet. i think there's something beautifully vicious about the way she internalizes things, how her motivations are so clear and yet, they're not.

i think there's something beautifully vicious about the way she internalizes things, how her motivations are so clear and yet, they're not.

that's exactly what i like about her too. it's the fact she's never rattled, when really. you'd think she should or would be. she's just aloof and cold about everything. and while others have criticized her for it, i love it. and it's why i like jack with juliet. he can freak out all he wants, scream, yell, hell, try and kill her - but she remains calm. i love it.

ha. i liked the way she kicked kate's ass in the beginning of left behind. she barely blinked. -- there's glimpses of how sad she is too, i think, and pieces of it were coming out to kate, who had no idea at all. but agree with you on the jack/juliet.
