Thanks hun glad you enjoyed it. It was a bit different style, I'm not used to word limits, so this was a lot of fun to write and wrestle in right on the 400 word limit.

I've only just watched Torchwood over the last two weeks, and absolutly adorded Jack/Ianto (I sulked for two days after watching Children of Earth) Jack might get around a bit, but it is only Ianto and the Doctor that I actually ship him with too. The Doctor, well thats more complicated...he's such a flirt, yet I have trouble taking it any furhter, Amy, River and Jack are the exceptions...sometime Rose too I guess.

You did a great job with Jack in this -- his nobility, his sense of doom and isolation -- he is perfect for the prompt. The tension of your narrative and the emotional resonance between the Doctor and Jack at he end really make me feel you've told a complete story in a few words -- yet make me want to read on! Great work! I'll definitely read on!

Thank you so much. I had so much fun writing Jack I had to keep going. his nobility, his sense of doom and isolation... this is what makes exploring his character so wonderful.
