It was medicinal. The spicy sausage surely helped drain his sinuses!

The sausage was hot enough to drain my sinuses. His? Not so much.
He added a large amount of Crystal to his. He has an insanely high heat tolerance. Not as high as his dad's, (the man eats habaneros straight!) but high enough that anything labeled "hot" is never hot enough.
And for the record: it is very, very good. Warm and filling, just right for a winter day.

It *might* be made a *bit* less unhealthy by using chicken/shrimp "juice" instead of a full broth (then you can add back in ground onion, garlic, celery, other spicing they put into a broth), and sopping up the grease during the browining-sausages stage. *whine* but that's where the REAL flavor is!!!!
I wonder how much fat is in plain lobster. I picked up a pair of lobster tails on sale, grilled one up plain (no butter), and it was delish ... no butter, no spicing, nothing extra, just grilled lobster.
