*It's a late night in Goldenrod, the time of night when most shoppers at the department store have started to clear out, leaving just those poor night shifters to deal with the few stragglers to enjoy the whole 'late night shopping' thing! One such shopper happens to be strolling into the department store along with a Machoke, Hypno, Gligar and... ( Read more... )

*the video shows him in some undescript location, a nice sizable wad of bills in his hand* --hmm? I would think what I was doing was rather obvious! Reveling in the screams of the crowd and all that jazz.

You mean you were injuring people for the fun of it. Is that what you're saying?

Oh no, not at all! I was laughing at their pain and misery out of sympathy.

[Video --> Action] BEST ROBBERY EVER. also feel free to kick Heather's butt. foolishwren November 23 2010, 03:57:18 UTC
[So, Heather doesn't have a night shift at Goldenrod. She'd been going to, but that hours-limit (and the horrible, burning desire to be as far away from her supervisor as possible at all times) stopped her from taking it up. So when the robbery takes place, she's a few blocks down in that big ol' hotel, chilling out and flicking through the messages on her 'Gear.]

[And, uh. Then she sees this.]

[Holy shit.]

[.... well, she guess she shouldn't be so surprised. It's the Joker.]

.... Motherfucker.

[And then she's grabbing her vest and running out the door, fumbling the PokeBalls out of her pockets as she does so. It takes her a few minutes to get there, though she takes the route at a sprint, with Cujo bounding at her heels.]

[When she gets there? If she spots the clown in question, there's no warning on her end-- just a sudden BURST OF FIRE billowing in front of his path from the scrawny teen and her dog at the edge of the plaza.]

HEY!

*The clown is in the general area still, as it was a nice long robber*

--whoa-hoa-hoa-hoooooooa! Compannny halt! Tsk, tsk... Kids these days, no respect! Shooting fire this way and that.

Suds, show the young lady how to cool off. *And with a gleeful smile on Joker's face, his washing machine hovers into the air! Only for its door to open and... Well, there is a Hydro Pump bursting forth from it, sending a impressively soapy concentrated blast of water barreling right toward our heroic Silent Hillian.*

G--

[GHRBBLBLGSSHFHFHKSG;DGF;S'DH'!!!]

[Heather wasn't the most solid, unyielding thing around, and the fierce jet of detergent-filled water knocks her scrawny self clean off her feet and skidding backwards a modest distance across the cobblestones on her back. O-OW?!]

[Cujo had leaped out of the way with a sharp, alarmed yip, and was already running to catch up with his saturated Trainer.]

[Damn it damn it damn it, if only he hadn't left Goldenrod he might've been able to do something to stop him. If he were anywhere near the crime scene right now, he'd be grabbing his stuff and running out to do something about this.

As it is... he's five days away, and helpless, and he doesn't like focusing on that fact.

But he does have the power to say something. Though as Joker receives a response, he may notice it's from a gear registered to 'Kaitou Kid.' No video for Joker, because Kaito doesn't have time to dress himself up to hide his identity, while disguising his voice only takes a few seconds]

Theft can be easily carried out without harming nearby innocents. How sloppy.

[audio] fatalfun November 23 2010, 04:57:07 UTC
Oh no, sloppy would be letting there be anyone left standing who can go running to the police. Besides, nothing makes a job worth doing like knowing there will be people screaming in terror. Haaaaahahahahaaaaaa!

Sloppy is involving people who have committed no wrongs other than being in the wrong place at the right time. There's no honor in hurting innocent people.

Ah-- but I suppose I shouldn't have expected any less from you.

[audio] fatalfun November 23 2010, 21:15:58 UTC
Seriously! You think I care about honor? You're talking to the wrong clown, kiddo. The more people hurt in a robbery, the better! I even have a body count tally back home!
