I think Crazy Bee Girl was more coherent than I would have been.
I did the fangurl thing at Barbara Hambly when she attended an Eastercon. I can't remember what I said or did (I'd been sat running the stall with Gytha for hours, so vodka and coke was probably involved...) but she backed away pretty fast. Later in the evening, she was sat in one of the Liverpool Adelphi's many bars with dduane and as I wandered over, I saw the look of panic descend. But I was going over to give dduane a hug (we have known each other forever, it seems) so she needn't have worried. I think this was the same convention that Chris Claremont and petermorwood had an imaginary sword fight, for my imaginary honour.
