SSP for right now so no one messes up my stuff, but I'm looking for a good server to play SMP on.

Well, I have a server up at net.goe.dcom. I have several anti-griefing measures in place.

Hey, I deal with my problems in safe, reasonable ways. And it's helped my creativity designing different things to kill you off.
