Don't give up hope, because Charlie and I broke up too. For reasons different than him trying to better himself, but in the long run that's what happened anyway. He wasn't exactly the best boyfriend the first time we dated, but now he is amazing. So hopefully this same thing happens to you, and in the meantime-- stay friends.
