John's outfit seems to be taking For-Ev-Or!!!!!! But got his hat in :) We moved all weekend so I just started sewing again in the last few days...which means I JUST started sewing his outfit...eeeekkksss....crosses fingers it will be done on time.

So, seeing his hat from the picture you posted (yesterday?) on your blogspot, WHERE did you get it?! I'm always on the lookout for nice historical hats for men. Making women's hats seems easier than making a hat for a man and I'm not afraid to tackle my own hats, but Matt's - I pretty much will always buy them, I think.

First...bummer you missed the tea! I found johns hat on eBay.....up close it still looks pretty costumey but it works. I found a few similar at online reenactment sites but this was a bit cheaper. I'll see if I still have the box because if remember it was a costume shop that was the seller. Going to attempt to make boot covers for over his shoes lol.
