Out of curiosity, what do the underlines and font colors indicate?

Underlines should just be the link to the actual review, unless I screwed up my HTML. (Very possible!) The colors change from month to month, so that it's easier to tell at a glance which months were 'productive'.

It does look like some of the color got screwed up when I transferred the list from its original home in my sidebar (I think if you read this through the LJ friend-list option, you never see the sidebar) to a journal entry.

Some links have black underlines and codes ahead of the titles; others just have the normal formatting link for the journal that they're viewed on. Odd.

Colors make complete sense, though! Thanks for satiating my curiosity—I was wondering if they indicated something for readers (like recommended/not recommended) or for your own purpose (like separating the months, as it is). Looking at it now, of course it's obvious. Ah, so it goes.

I've been using Livejournal's Rich Text for this journal instead of adding the HTML tags manually, which I prefer but is relatively time consuming. I was looking over the raw HTML code for this entry after your first note and it's really bizarre! Tons of extra < /font> and < /span> tags scattered everywhere.

I love the devil in the white city. Eric Larson always manages to put the shivers in my spine and this classic is nof different.
